The author when faced with a pain that she had never experienced before and amidst what felt like a vital shipwreck decided to write herself a tale, as one builds a salvation plank, when she finished she couldn't help but to write a few more in case they could help other survivors.
We are the tales we heard before, we will be the tales we tell ourselves.
